Admission Process & Eligibility Criteria

The Government College of Art & Design (GCAD), Nagpur, offers a two-year Art Teacher Diploma (A.T.D.) program for aspiring educators.The curriculum combines foundational training in art and design with essential teaching methodologies, educational psychology, and classroom management. Graduates are qualified to teach art in primary and secondary schools and to lead community art workshops and programs.

Eligibility Criteria – To be eligible for admission to the A.T.D. program, candidates must:  Have passed the HSC (10+2) or an equivalent examination

Admission Process – Admission to the Art Teacher Diploma (A.T.D.) program is granted on the basis of merit, based on the candidate’s performance in the HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination.
