Art Teacher Diploma (A.T.D.) is a two-year specialized program offered by the Government College of Art & Design (GCAD), Nagpur, affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Art Education, Mumbai. Designed to prepare future art educators, the program integrates creative art practices with effective teaching methodologies. The curriculum for the first year emphasizes foundational training in drawing, painting, design, and craft, while the second year focuses on art education theory, lesson planning, educational psychology, and classroom management.
